Yesterday we played Longney in the Plate knock out football competition.  In a very close game, Jordan Hone made several great saves to keep us in the game and at half time it was 0 – 0.

Pressing hard in the second half with tireless running by Max, we took the lead when Shane Davis turned sharply and lashed an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net.

With Luke Ohren helping out the defence we hung on to gain victory

1 – 0 and go through to the next round.

Man of the match could have been Jordan or Shane, but was Shane because although Jordan stopped us losing, Shane always looked like he could win the game for us.
