Monday's Weather

On Monday the 10^th of March the weather was dreadful. The wind was whistling through the trees, the rain was absolutely shooting down; we could hear it on the windows. In the late afternoon there was hammering hail, the noise was unbearable. The wind was so bad that on the Severn   Bridge vehicles were nearly falling off the bridge. Sleet represented big rain splatters on the windows. The windows were absolutely drenched.
