28 Mar 2008 - Charity Fun Day

On Friday the 28th of March the school had its Charity Day. This year our charity was WaterAid. The main idea is that year 3, 4, 5 and 6’s run stalls so the infants can go on them and the juniors who didn’t have a stall to run, the infants need to pay to play on the stall, their money will be given to the charity. At the end of the day the whole school has an assembly in which the total of the money is added together to make the grand total. This year we raised £434.86. Many people liked Wii sports and Find the Shark but all the stalls were good. Also Jack Gyde and Scott Tandy won the prize for best costumes. Then we had a collection for an extra playtime, we raised £50 which bought us an extra 10 minutes a day playtime.  We also sent this money off to the charity. It was a very fun day.
