29 Jan 2008 - Cinderella Report

Who Will The Slipper Fit?

On December 12th and 13th 2007 Brockworth   Primary School performed their spectacular Christmas play Cinderella.

Cinderella was Brockworth   Primary School ’s 2007 Christmas play held on December 12th and 13th. The children were aged from 7-11. We asked Mr Hume, the children’s head master, “Why did you choose to perform Cinderella?” He answered, “I chose Cinderella because it was fun, the music that Mrs Thomas wrote is excellent, it meant everyone could be involved. We already had a script which would save time writing one, and last January we saw it at the Everyman in Cheltenham.

Meanwhile, we asked Jack Gyde and Cian Campbell, who played the ugly sisters, what they thought about the costumes, they said, “ The costumes were fine but we weren’t very keen on the types of clothing.”

The storyteller, Ceri Bastin, was asked, “On a rating from 1-10 how good was the play from your point of view?”

“7, is what I think, there are a lot of things that were amazing and a few that were ok and could be better.”
